And are any of you pumped for today? Lesnar vs. Couture!
I see no way Randy can win. He’s too old, too small and had too long of a layoff. Lesnar is too massive, athletic and younger. That being said, I think Randy wins.

I'm quickly becoming a fan of this. Its better than boxing because of how its currently regulated and how the refs are quicker to step in and stop a fight when things start clearly going south for one guy (thus preventing more serious injuries). Also, the techniques are fun to watch.

My brother-in-law, a friend of our's, and I watched the Lensar-Couture fight at the local Hooters. It was a blast, even though a lot of the matches ended after only one round.

I really didn't give Lesnar a chance in that fight. Boy was I surprised.

Lesnar is just overwhelming; he rebounded from that mistake against BJJ Black Belt Frank Mir.

One of the most impressive fighters is Anderson Silva -- knocking out fighters in two different weight classes!

Anyone want to predict the Evans-Griffin fight for the light heavyweight belt?

Lesnar has improved dramatically since he came into UFC, but he's still got a ways to go. The guy is definitely not unbeatable. Still, when he first went from professional wrestling to mixed martial arts fighting, I thought the move was going to turn out to be as big of a joke as when he tried to play football for the Minnesota Vikings. He's proved me wrong, and I'm actually looking forward to seeing his next fight.

I think Lesnar's biggest weakness, right now, is that he seems to get winded quickly.

Any of you watched Fight Master of NGC? Bas Rutten is really killing machine, and he breaks the record of science.

BTW, Brock Lesnar is ex-WWE wrestler.

I think we figured that one out. But thanks, anyway. He's also currently in a relationship with former WWE Diva and Playboy Centerfold Rena "Sable" Mero. I don't believe they're married, yet, though.

I am a fan and will say Silva is the best in the game period.

I also love Rampage and so glad he showed the world Liddel is a glass jaw king.

Maybe more significant is that he's also an ex-NCAA wrestling champion.

I thought it was funny to read that Brock Lesnar didn't think Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley could make it in the UFC. Kurt is a former gold medalist and Lashley was one of the best in the Army. I'd say they can handle it.

I wish BJ Penn would quit avoiding Kenny Florian.
That's a fight I won't miss.

Angle won his gold medal with a hairline fracture in his neck.

Lashley would manhandle Lesnar.

Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva face off in an upcoming event.

I am looking forward to the Mir - Nogueira fight this month.

Brock Lesner was submitted by Mir, a BJJ black belt.

Angle... maybe in his prime, but his neck has been MAJORLY screwed up in the past. Bobby Lashley.... Army or not, the words "roid-rage" always pop into my head when I'd see him. He wouldn't make it.

Lashley had that build in the army. and was tested then. seriously doubt he is on roids. being a army champion and still heazlthy, i think ufc guys would fear him with that power coming in. they would want him when he is beat down and past his prime, that way they could save face

I don't think that's the case at all, at least not the majority. Almost all of the MMA guys I've met; have delusions of grandeur, they pretty much "think" they can beat everyone.

Good point Joey. You and I both know the standards in the military for drug testing. I'm very confident that Lashley will not have to worry about 'roid rage.

The potential of him having been a roider in his WWE days aside, he HAS left the WWE.

If he really is legit as you and armydude believe he is, then I do hope he takes a step into MMA. It will be interesting to see how he handles himself.

Never doubted it for a second. I saw an article where he said he plans to do 3 or 4 more matches before talking to someone at the UFC.
