This line up makes me want to yawn. It'll be interesting to see Cloris Leachman get through this. This cast for some reason doesn't excite me.

Same here. I think I only know 4 or 5 people for this season so I'll probably going to watch on and off this season.

I plan on watching. I may not know all the stars, but I'll learn more about them as the weeks go on. I'm really watching to see how much progress these folks make anyway. I enjoy watching dancing.
I miss those old variety shows where you got to see people dance along with all the other entertainment. I even miss "American Bandstand" and "Soul Train". They showcased different dances often. Of course, some forms of dancing were questionable ...

I predict that Lance will do fairly well. He danced as part of N'SYNC(mother of a then-teenaged daughter speaking), as did Joey Fatone. Joey did very well. So I think the dancing should come easier to Lance that most of the others. I Don't think he'll win, but I think he will do well.

So what does everyone think of the first night? I was really surprised that Warren Sapp did so well. Brook Burns did well, but she isn't well enough known to go far. It was sure good to see Maks back. He makes anyone look good.

I am worried about Toni. Her dance last night was not a high energy dance and she was gasping for air. I'm sure the doctor has given her a 'go' to be on the show but I'd be concern.
It's great to see Lacey in the show. I did not even know that she'll be in this season until last night. I'm sure her brother Benji's there somewhere. Lacey was on So you think you can dance last year. Her brother Benji won the year before and they both have a very crazy nutty personalities-- just full of energy. Their Dad used to a ballroom grand winner as well.

I agree with a comment from Nigel Lithgow on "So You Think You Can Dance" season 3:
"I think they should call that other show 'Dancing with Celebrities' because the stars are here."
I have only watched a bit of this show a few times and the level of dance is no where near what SYTYCD is.
I wonder if any of these people could pull off a Mia Michaels contemporary routine?

It was ok. The only outstanding dancers were Toni Braxton, Warren Sapp, Brooke what's her name, and Lance Bass. The others did not do so great in my opinion. I loved Cloris Leachman trying to sway the judges. Funny.

Cloris Leachman had me in stitches. I only hope to be able to dance when I'm 83 years old. Let alone lift my leg that high.

Brooke seems to have the most natural talent at this point. I said before the season started to watch out for Warren. Something about football players makes them excel on this show.
