I have shared the gospel with people who I knew were fornicators. When I shared the gospel with them, I never brought up the fact that fornication is a sin. Do you think I should have done so?

We are not people's Holy Spirit. I would leave the convicting to God.

Depends on where they are at and what your relationship with them looks like.

sharing the gospel with people who are shacking up. if it is in the context of telling a person they are not good enough to accept the blood of Christ, and that they have to change first, then no. when a shacker upper gives their life to Jesus, things happen, things change, and it is a work of the Holy Spirit, and not an act of will power and appearance. in that context.... yes. but it depends on how well you know them, and how receptive they would be to harsh sounding judgmental words of verbal conviction. when paul passed through Athens in Acts 17, a town full of idolaters, he didn't read off the 1st of the ten commandments, he took the opportunity to tell the people about the unknown god, and shared the good news with them. instead of telling them what they shouldn't do, tell them what they should do........ something like that.

No because they will not have any interest in giving up their sin until after they have a relationship with Christ that is more important to them then their sin is.

Depends...Are they genuinely trying to follow God and are just ignorant that this sin is right there in the middle of their life? This sounds very improbable, but if you think this is the case, you might want to tell them... Or do they know that the Bible states that God considers fornication a sin and yet they do it anyway? This is more likely the case and so telling them will not help. Their main problem is that they are not lovers of God. They put their own desires before His. It's a form of idolatry. I'll wager that if they gave you an honest answer, they would admit that they don't love God with all their heart, soul and strength they way Jesus commanded. Their fornication flows out of that.
