Welcome to all the newbies!

It is due to the snail (as well as slugs) having extremely small voice boxes. Linguists have had a hard time attaching microphones to the beasts, and picking up their language. quite the opposite of whales.
ANYONE can speak whale if they try.

Agreed. You can't stick the microphones to snails because their slime makes everything slide off. Staples don't work either - I mean, where can you safely staple a snail?

Just wanted to share a thought in "whale-ese"

beoooooooooooooooooooooouhhhhhhhh niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

My cats are much easier to understand. Phoebe likes to sass a lot - she says stuff like "Don't touch me!" and "She did it, not me!" a lot. Sadie's most common complaints are "The food isn't fresh enough mom!" and "What do you mean I can't go outside". Asia talks more to the dog - "Stop biting my head!"

Now the dog on the other hand likes to talk to the invisible aliens that roam around outside. She tries to scare them away, but they keep coming back......

my dog chases aliens too. they are mostly around the drains and under window sills.
Oh, and a little encouragement in whale: gllllllllllweeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooooooo!

I've got a furry child named Bailey. Sometimes when he's really noisy, I call him "Sir Woofalot". He's the most gorgeous thing. If he were human, I'd marry him!

B3 - That's me!

I had to do a double take for a minute and think about where exactly I had posted today. Okay, I got it now. Sure do miss the memory when it's gone. But do I? How can I miss something if I can't remember if I got it or not?

Where am I? This forums blur stuff is tough at times...

Hi! I don't know any of you in this thread, but I saw the title and couldn't resist dropping in. I have more critters than I care to count, some being of the human kind , and when I saw there was chocolate and coffee . . . well, count me in!

The dogs know! That's why they are the only ones to bark at those kind.

Unless they miss my pickup or spill out in the driveway, then I've been known to bark at them too...

Your mind is with my mind? Cool! They'll have company.

Who let the dogs out? Who? Who? Who? Who?

So, anyone here have any strange talents? I'll see if I can describe mine (it's much easier to demonstrate ).

I can only do this with a couple of my fingers and this is done without "help" - each finger can do it on it's own. I can bend the very top joint of the finger while keeping the rest of the finger straight.

I know what you mean, phosy. I can do that with all 4 fingers of my right hand and....checking.....none of the fingers on my left hand.

Other than that, nothin'. Unless you count my considerable talent for procrastination!

Cool! I've never met anyone else who could do that! I can't do it on my left hand either - almost but not quite.
