What orange shorts??????

If you'd ever been in a Hooters you'd know. The waitresses there wear very short orange shorts. I'm not positive but I think they are required to them 2 or 3 sizes too small.

I was trying to find out how YOU know about the shorts!!! I've never been to Hooters!

It was MANY years ago that I last visited a Hooter's but some things are not easily erased from memory.

The company is at the top of the list, the food is just an added benefit.

From Tony's newsletter:
A Smoky Mountain Christmas!
November 28, December 5 and December 12 2008

Smoky Mountain Christmas time is here! As most of you know The
Galloways and I were robbed last year when someone stole the trailer
that The Galloways had that was housing all of our Smoky Mountain
Christmas stuff….like china, silverware, decorations, etc…so we were
talking after last year that we might just end it on a high note…and
call it quits. We had a great time doing the event but it is a LOT of
work and takes a lot of time to put together. Well….people heard we
were talking about stopping and would not hear of it…they LOVE it and
want to see it continue. SO…after many late night phone conversations
The Galloways and I have decided to once again present A Smoky
Mountain Christmas! The event will be held this year at the beautiful
Hidden Mountain Resort Clubhouse….This is the original site that we
had the very first year in…so we return to our roots! Hidden Mountain
has recently renovated their clubhouse and it is BEAUTIFUL and has a
complete commercial kitchen and a breathtaking dinning room! They are
a cabin resort and will offer special deals to folks who would like
to stay in a cabin during your Smoky Mountain Christmas stay. The
dates for this years event will be November 28, December 5 and
December 12….as many of you know in the past we have had about 9-10
nights…this year we are only doing 3 nights!!!! So you need to make
your reservations quick before we are full! Smoky Mountain
Christmas '08 will be $55 per person….reservations required…call The
Galloways at 615-776-3890 today for your reservation.
Smoky Mountain Christmas is a Full Dinner, Games and Concert…it is a
great Christmas event to bring your family, friends, Sunday School
Class, your Pastor and his wife! CALL TODAY!

We're gonna be there December 12th. Hope to see others we know there also. It will be a fun evening, if you haven't made plans why don't you come up on the 12th with us and enjoy the evening and all the lights that the area has to offer. And BTW women there is great shopping at all the outlet malls there. Men they provide benches for you to relax and watch the crowds while your wife shops.

From Tony Gore newsletter:

Hello!
LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW! We had SNOW on Monday here in Sevierville…
and it was breathtaking! It came in showers…it really didn't stick
but it did lay on the grass and cars for little while. I loved it!
The first night of Smoky Mountain Christmas was GREAT! No disasters…
we didn't blow anything up or burn down the club house! HA! The
Clubhouse is beautiful…it is my favorite building ever for SMC! There
are still a FEW seats left for this week and next week…only 8 seats
left for this week……it will be sold out! If you would like to come,
you need to call NOW! We would love to have you!

Choice of three Veggies - Green Beans, Macaroni & Cheese, Fried Apples, Pineapple Casserole, Candied Yams or Mashed Potatoes. Gourmet Dessert.

Had this copied to post and forgot to post it:

Hello Everyone!
Smoky Mountain Christmas is over…and it was a HUGE success! Everyone
said that they really enjoyed everything and loved the new club house
at Hidden Mountain…we have booked there for next year already. Thanks
for everyone who supported us again this year…we had a blast!
We travel to Nashville this weekend for the Christmas dinner for the
homeless…it will be held on Sunday…please pray for the weather…they
are calling for 18 degree weather with freezing rain and snow for
Sunday night! Not good! Thanks to everyone who has contributed to
help us buy the food…it you would still like to help, it's not to
late….Make your checks payable to: Smoky Mountain Christmas and in
the memo line put "Bridge Dinner"….mail your check to P.O. Box 6099
Sevierville, TN 37864. God Bless You for your gift!
I want EVERYONE to join me this year in Charleston!!! We are going to
have SO much fun and I want YOU there!!!! Make your plans NOW!
Tickets to this great event would make great Christmas gifts!!! Hint,
Hint! Call for tickets TODAY!

Note from Santa: Re new clubhouse. Hidden Mtn. redid the clubhouse a while back. It is beautiful. Over twice as large than when Tony had the first Smoky Mtn. Christmas dinner there.
And I think Hidden Mountain Resort Clubhouse is what Bobby had meant.

Got an e-mail from Earl Galloway today. Tony had called him and told him that he had a fire in the pit house where he smokes his meat.

If something happens to one it happens to the other, so Earl has a fire extinhuisher strapped to his mom and one strapped to Charlene and he's running around with a garden hose in his hand.

Isn't there supposed to be fire in the smokehouse? Where else would you get the smoke?
