I want to thank God for enabling me to see how important it is to have a thankful heart in any situation. To always try to trust that God is always in control, He is never late, He never fails and His love is enough for me. The other option which is dwelling in self pity is a very dangerous path that I don't want to go.

I want to thank God today for his unrelenting grace. When I was facing an uphill battle yesterday, I prayed, determined to trust Him and rested in His promises. Today He did exactly what I needed Him to do, plus some. For that, and much more I am thankful.

I would like to thank God just for being alive. I want to thank him for my wonderful Son Zachary and my most perfect daughter-in-law Lavonna and keeping them safe while they're stationed in Turkey. I want to thank God for loving me even when I feel I don't deserve his love. I want to thank God for picking me up when I feel like everyone is out to get me. I would like to thank God for reminding me to forgive those who I feel have slighted me, so I don't allow any anger to fester in my heart and keep me away from Him. I thank God with all my heart for being there.
