I'm offended that my back is really bothering me tonight, and it is messing with the way I have to hold Caleb. And I can't take anything until hubby gets home from work, as it will totally knock me out for a few hours (just because I'm that tired already) so I need him to be here for the kids.

Good ... although I've met several people who (as much as it pains me to say this) know diddly squat about Canada and think it is some strange way-off foreign country. I'm in a border city, and there are people who live in the city right across from me (literally less than 5 minutes to cross over the bridge, including the time at the Customs booth) who think that as soon as they cross over into Canada that there will be moose and polar bears roaming around everywhere, and a whole bunch of igloos .... now *that's* offensive!!! They come across in July in 105' weather and ask "Where's all the snow???"

I've not read all of this thread, so I don't know what's going on now. I've read the OP and wanted to say that I've met other posters and real life people who get easily offended at what I say, even when I don't mean to offend them. Some people are just overly sensitive and they just need to learn patience and develop a tough skin. I'm SLOWLY learning not to let things bother me, but I'm also a very opinionated person, so sometimes I get upset when I feel that other posters are trying to upset me with their posts. I realize that that might not be their intent, but when I'm having a bad day, it just seems that way to me.

As for what offends me, well, I might write a book someday on that.

LOL. I spent 18 years north of you in Alaska. Ordering from a catelog or something was always a hoot. "We only ship to the United States." We are a state! Ohh, and the igloo thing too.

I'm offended that there have been many people who thnk that I lived in a foreign country because they know that my dad was stationed at Pearl Harbor.

I'm offended when you say pluck instead of tweeze. Plucking is for chickens.
